Inside the natatorium, walls of floor-to-ceiling windows surround the pool, granting swimmers sweeping views of the Larsen Park and Stern Grove and providing diffused sunlight.

Durable, low-maintenance materials like cast-in-place concrete walls and aluminum curtain wall framing highlight the building’s simple yet monumental forms. At the interior, cedar slats over acoustical baffles create a comfortable swimming environment while vibrant blue tiles, handcrafted by a local artist, conceal pool equipment.
