The design preserves the original loft-like timber interiors, a reference to the area’s industrial roots, while introducing new glazing with enhanced natural light, and open, flexible spaces befitting a workplace that needs to be many things to many people each day. The program includes collaborative and heads-down workspaces, meeting rooms, teaching labs, and multi-functional lounge areas. Spaces can be scaled according to community needs, whether that means supporting panel discussions, workshops, or networking events.
